Msn question.. i know this is for yahoo but i got a question about the msn usage?

is it true that they are going to start charging people for using msn messenger and msn accounts?? and it wont charge u unless u send that message to 20 friends then ur name turns blue and it doesnt charge... i want to knw if its true

No, it isn't true.





Firstly, if it's true, Microsoft will give a press release about it.





Secondly, why would Microsoft want to charge users? If they charge, less people will use it and they will move to other IM services like Yahoo





Thirdly, the rumors about send message to 20 friends etc. is fake and a scam. Delete the email if you receive it. An authentic one will have Microsoft logo and will be sent by Microsoft to each user.





So you need not worry. You may contact Microsoft in future if similar things do happen.
