Go to Task Manager and look for any suspicious tasks running (in Processes) and end the process. If you believe it did not work, use a sophisticated anti-virus (AVAST for example) that allows you to adjust the 'sensitivity' of viruses/trojans -- it'll probably detect the program because it reads and transmits logs, find the path of the program and disable it from there.

Also, the program may read logs from a folder that MSN creates, just go to your options while logged into MSN and disable "save MSN logs."

If it's password protected, you need to either remove the whole program which your parents will notice or spend 3 years learning how passwords are encrypted and stored in the registry to crack. :)

(or, an easier way is to find out the program that is doing this and find a way to bypass the enable/disable password on the internet)
Reply:Download the latest version of MSN Messenger, its called MSN Plus.

It has a feature where you press Ctrl and Space when someones coming and it hides all your windows and disguises the MSN icon as something else =)

I would say that its best not to keep chat logs.

  1. I've used Kaspersky protection for a few years, I would recommend this product to you all.
