Why cant i get onto internet explorer????

I can get online via aol - obviously hence i am here asking the question pmsl.....but i cant get IE...kepp getting msg "internet explorer cannot display webpage".....connectivity is obviously fine as my broadband is letting me get onto my aol....whats going on?? and how can i sort it??!





it says "You are not connected to the Internet. (I AM!)


The website is encountering problems. (HAVE TRIED A FEW BUT NONE ARE WORKING!)

simple...open Internet explorer and go to the Tools menu and select internet options -%26gt; Connections -%26gt;LAN Settings and check the Automatically Detect Setting check box and click OK. Now close your browser and open the same again..! u should be good to go now...hope this helps.!
