Internet explorer not working, but firefox does?

I uninstalled I.E. , rebooted, and downloaded, and reinstalled I.E., and still no luck.





I rarely use I.E., and I can't remember when the last time it worked was. I wanted to go to windows update, and it says it only works with I.E., and I cant get it to work. It opens, but will not go to any website.

well uninstall it coz IE has a lot of faults.. mozilla firefox is much better :D
Reply:KB932823, Go to Add/ Remove programs, and remove this hotfix, you will need to click up the top of Add/ Remove programs in the space that says Show Updates, look down the list and find KB932823 Hot Fix for Internet Explorer, and delete it, and see if this works, some people have done this to make Internet Explorer work for them, if it doesn't work for you then there is no problem just downloading this fix again. let me know how you went.
Reply:u can try these 2 things :





1.Uninstall and reinstall the IE





2.or else u can upgrade(overwrite) ur OS with the OS cd(same as that installed or next service pack),then ur problem will be getting solved.
