ok, i have bought an item, paid for it last week, i have checked paypal and it says the payment will be processed on the 16/06/08 which is this moday. Also the paymnent is being payed by Echeque. I have noted the seller and he is happy to wait.





My problem is i checked my registered card on paypal and it was expired on the 5/2008. How will the item be paid for then???


Will the Echeque go through???





NOTE: I bought 2 items last month with this card and they came through.

It is because your registered card has expired that they are using an echque..


nothing to worry about, it just slows the process down.

If they have a problem with the payment they will let you know, but to be nice you should give the seller a heads up, they'll appreciate it.
Reply:Paypal has resorted to using your "backup" payment method, which is usually from your bank account. This takes many days to process. Providing you have funds in your bank account, the payment will clear.





Expiring May 2008 means your card would work throughout May, but not June.





To solve this problem, login to PayPal and replace your old card details with your new ones!
Reply:im not so sure but i think the payment wont go through if i was you i would update my card details stright away and maybe it will be ok then as you new card will be in progress but to be safe and at ease you can email paypal or you can phone them .maybe if you go on ebay usa there is a live chat you can talk to maybe they could help you stright away if you need imedate answers now ,other wise the email can take up to 24 hs but i wish you good luck i hope ive been helpful
