if they know it they can hack your computer depending on your security settings. If you have a fire wall and good account password you should be more or less safe. However some web sites offer a tracing service that can get your general area. However these services are not always accurate.

Reply:Andew is correct in that they can hack your computer if you leave it open to the world. But as far as location, all they can find is the location of the segment of your provider that you're connected to. In some cases that can be as small as a village or part of a city, and in some cases it can be a whole country. So, unless you haven't secured your computer, the answer is "not much".
