Yea, make a funny video for once. 99% of the garbage on youtube is, well, GARBAGE. Everybody thinks they are a comedian or thinks they have something cool to show. If it is something new, original, AND funny then it will naturally get a lot of hits and comments.

upload your video and make sure you add loads of Tags so it broadens your search. Say, you upload a video of Mity's famous win over Utd bk in Feb, add the tags like MCFC City Manchester city Utd United Derby and so on. That way, when people search on YT, YT will search ALL tags and Keywords.
