How do you put up videos up on youtube after i have captured them?

ok i had just bought a dazzle dvc100 and got everything working so i can capture gears of war footage. after a couple tries with no success . every video i put up has no video on it just sound but when i play the file using any program it works perfectly. plz help me figure out why my video is not uploading right.............

MAybe open windows movie maker and make the video there and then save it as a movie and upload it
