Internet explorer not working, but firefox does?

I uninstalled I.E. , rebooted, and downloaded, and reinstalled I.E., and still no luck.





I rarely use I.E., and I can't remember when the last time it worked was. I wanted to go to windows update, and it says it only works with I.E., and I cant get it to work. It opens, but will not go to any website.

well uninstall it coz IE has a lot of faults.. mozilla firefox is much better :D
Reply:KB932823, Go to Add/ Remove programs, and remove this hotfix, you will need to click up the top of Add/ Remove programs in the space that says Show Updates, look down the list and find KB932823 Hot Fix for Internet Explorer, and delete it, and see if this works, some people have done this to make Internet Explorer work for them, if it doesn't work for you then there is no problem just downloading this fix again. let me know how you went.

1.Uninstall and reinstall the IE





2.or else u can upgrade(overwrite) ur OS with the OS cd(same as that installed or next service pack),then ur problem will be getting solved.

Why cant i get onto internet explorer????

I can get online via aol - obviously hence i am here asking the question pmsl.....but i cant get IE...kepp getting msg "internet explorer cannot display webpage".....connectivity is obviously fine as my broadband is letting me get onto my aol....whats going on?? and how can i sort it??!

simple...open Internet explorer and go to the Tools menu and select internet options -%26gt; Connections -%26gt;LAN Settings and check the Automatically Detect Setting check box and click OK. Now close your browser and open the same again..! u should be good to go now...hope this helps.!

Mess with annoying blog commentors?

I had a blog commentor that was really obnoxious so I blocked this user's IP address. With the program I use I can send this person to an alternate site. I am looking for a website that will really mess with this person or call this person a jerk or something.





I want something funny or annoying or a little bit mean so this person gets the hint at stops trying to access my site.

your IE is corrupted so try to use windows updates for repairing

Reply:one of those updates was for internet explorer after I installed my firewall asked for permission to let it though


check to see if your firewall is blocking internet explorer you may have had the warning and inadvertently blocked it
